The Donald Ross designed Maketewah Country Club is ready to welcome the fifth edition of the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G starting Thursday. This gorgeous new home for the LPGA Tour stop in Cincinnati, Ohio is about to challenge an incredible field that includes the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings No. 1 and No. 2 players teeing it up together for the first time since The Chevron Championship. Let us take a look at the must-watch groups for the first two rounds! All times are ET.
Thursday, 7:48 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 12:48 p.m., 1st tee - Charley Hull, Chizzy Iwai, Ruoning Yin
Hull claimed her third career LPGA victory right here at the Kroger Queen City Championship in 2025! π The Englishwoman is coming off a missed cut at the Mizuho Americas Open but has shown flashes of brilliance this season with two top 10s on the LPGA Tour and a win on the Ladies European Tour. Iwai also missed the cut at Mizuho last week and will be looking to find the form that delivered three top 10s already this season. Yin is absolutely on fire heading into Cincinnati with back-to-back runner up finishes and top 10s in three of her last four starts. She is knocking on the door! π₯
Thursday, 8:21 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 1:21 p.m., 1st tee - Sei Young Kim, Haeran Ryu, Ina Yoon
Kim came so close to victory at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro but stumbled down the stretch and lost in a playoff. Since that heartbreaking finish, she has missed the cut in her last two starts. Ryu showed solid form on Sunday at the Mizuho Americas Open with a tied for 14th finish. She has racked up five top 10s in the early part of the season! Yoon finished tied for 20th at Mizuho and will be building on her three top 10s to start the year.
Thursday, 12:48 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 7:48 a.m., 10th tee - Nelly Korda, Jeeno Thitikul, Lydia Ko π
This is THE group, ladies! Korda headlines the field in Cincinnati where she is hunting for her fourth victory of the season. She has not finished worse than second through the first four and a half months of the season and arrives in the Queen City off back-to-back wins at The Chevron Championship and Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba. Simply incredible! Thitikul, who was bumped from the Rolex Rankings No. 1 spot by Korda, is also playing fantastic golf after successfully defending her title on Sunday at the Mizuho Americas Open. She finished runner-up to Hull at this event in 2025. Ko won the 2024 Kroger Queen City Championship when it was played at TPC River's Bend and is searching for her first win of the season at Maketewah Country Club.
Thursday, 1:10 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 8:10 a.m., 10th tee - Patty Tavatanakit, Mao Saigo, Jin Young Ko
Tavatanakit will be looking to bounce back after missing the cut at the Mizuho Americas Open following back-to-back top 5s on Tour. The major winner is paired with another major champion in Saigo who picked up her first top 20 finish of the year on Sunday at Mizuho. Ko returns to Cincinnati looking for her first top 20 of the year after finishing 52nd last week at the Mizuho Americas Open.
