Talk about the luck of the Irish! Two-time U.S. Solheim Cup Team captain Stacy Lewis and her family dropped some seriously adorable news on March 17, and we are here for it!
Her husband Gerrod Chadwell took to Instagram with the sweetest photos of their daughter Chesnee holding up a sonogram. The caption said it all: "The greatest love! Baby girl coming in September…Chesnee is beyond excited to be a big sister!" 💕
How cute is that?!
This exciting announcement comes after Lewis officially hung up her tour clubs last fall, playing her final event at the 2025 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei. What a career this Texas legend had! We are talking 17 years on the LPGA Tour, climbing all the way to No. 1 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings, snagging two major championship titles, and racking up 13 total wins. 🏆
But wait, there is more! Stacy was also a member of four U.S. Solheim Cup Teams, competed twice at the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, and represented Team USA at the 2016 Rio Olympics where she finished tied for fourth. 🇺🇸
Her trophy case includes two Rolex Player of the Year honors, back-to-back Vare Trophy wins in 2013 and 2014, and the 2025 Founders Award.
